Wow what a milestone – Our hard working Student Enrolment Officer, Maria Pollard, celebrates a massive 22 years working at ACE!
Maria has always been a people-person. “I started as a receptionist at the original Tweed Heads campus and knew this was a job and opportunity not to be missed. Working with students and the community was, and still is, a privilege”.
She embodies the ACE motto: It’s your success we care about. With a passion for connecting with students and helping them pursue their dreams and career aspirations, stepping into the role of Student Enrolment Officer was a natural fit.
Her favourite part of the job? “I love meeting new people, learning their story and helping to change their lives. Watching them begin their journey from enrolment and work their way up to graduation is very rewarding.
It’s been great to see the growth ACE has had over 22 years, moving into Burleigh, Southport and expanding. And it has been amazing to be a part of it all”.
