Description

Learn traditional and sustainable basket weaving that lasts years and retains its shape. Start with the basic weaves of pairing and randing, then gradually learn new techniques of waling, turn downs and borders. Suitable for beginners or as a refresher course. if you wish to go further, enrol into Beyond Basic Baskets – Intermediate level.

TRAINER

The talented Bonny has previously taught basket weaving through cultural centres and TAFE.

MATERIALS

Please bring the following items if possible:

  • steel knitting needle
  • saucer
  • pair of side cutters
  • pair of round nose pliers
  • string
  • an old towel.
