Picture this: the brilliant colours of sunset, the glaring light and dark shadows of high summer, the warm colours of autumn, a rainy winter day in the city, the fresh colours of spring or dark storm clouds approaching.

Join us as we turn these vivid scenes into works of art. Over two sessions, paint a variety of outdoor scenes under different weather and light conditions. Explore and develop different watercolour techniques that best express these conditions: wet-in-wet, drybrush, glazing, layering and more. Visualise, paint and create.

This course runs for two sessions, over two consecutive weeks at our Lismore campus.

Artist Harry Westera has enjoyed a life long love for art and will be delivering this course. Harry is originally trained in still life and portraits in oil painting, and has years of experience with watercolour. He has delivered several popular workshops at ACE and is thrilled to return, passing on the wonderful knowledge and skills that others have taught him.

All materials and equipment provided at an additional $30 fee.
