Italian for Beginners & Travellers

Go from ‘foreign’ to ‘familiar’ in this beginner’s Italian language course, ideal for anyone preparing for travel or simply interested in learning.

You will start with the basics, exploring common words, greetings, phrases and sentences used in everyday communication. Progress to cover the travel essentials, how to order food, ask for directions, book hotels and more. Each topic can be tailored to meet each student’s needs and interests in the group.

Dive deeper into grammatical elements and work on your pronunciation, speaking and listening skills. Build confidence through repetition and asking questions – after all, practice makes perfect!

This course runs for eight sessions, over eight consecutive weeks at our Lismore campus. The perfect opportunity to expand your vocabulary, whilst making friends and having fun in the classroom.

Barbara Somerville has been teaching Italian language classes for seven years, from beginners, beginners continuing to intermediate level.
