Description
This course covers the skills and knowledge required to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines. This may be applied in a range of situations including community and workplace settings.
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is the most current nationally recognised unit of competency. Your credentials will need to be recertified every twelve months to maintain currency.
CLASSROOM AND ONLINE DELIVERY
The course is delivered in combination of classroom and online learning. Attendance and completion of both components is mandatory.
There are two hours of classroom delivery, and a further one hour (approximately) of online learning to be completed. The online component of the course must be completed prior to the classroom training date.
7 days prior to your selected course date you will receive an E-learning Assessment link and directions for completion (the assessment is multiple choice and is supported by a First Aid E-book).
This program is delivered and assessed by Australia Wide First Aid (RTO ID 31961) who will issue successful participants with a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
