Campus Closures Northern Rivers

ACE CEO UPDATE 28 FEBRUARY

To our Wonderful ACE Community Colleges Students and Community,

It is with great sadness that I inform you that our Lismore Campus has been impacted by the record breaking flood that has inundated the Lismore CBD.

This means, until further notice, our Campus will be closed to all staff and students.

Our team are currently working together to enable our operations to function remotely, and will continue to deliver services from the safety of their homes. However, some staff will not be up and running for a few days, so we ask for patience and kindness during this difficult time.

Our phone lines are also unable to be accessed at this point in time. However, if you urgently need to reach out to our customer care team, we would ask that you contact our staff at the Burleigh Waters Campus on (07) 5520 3026 and they will do their very best to help support your enquiry. We will endeavour to return our localised phone service as soon as we possibly can.

It is also important to note that we are working very hard on a strategy to ensure we can continue to support all our current and newly enrolling students during this difficult time, and our team will be reaching out shortly to discuss options and plans around your study.

We also need to advise, that our Murwillumbah Campus will be closed for the rest of this week due to flood warnings issued for the Tweed River and for the safety of our staff and students. You can reach out to the staff who are working remotely at mbah@acecolleges.edu.au and they will endeavour to attend to your enquiry as soon as possible.

If you urgently need to contact the College please phone our customer care team at our Burleigh Waters Campus on (07) 5520 3026 and they will do their very best to help support your enquiry.

We wish everyone the absolute best during what is a very difficult time for our Lismore and Murwillumbah communities, and hope you stay safe and well.

We will keep you updated as our planning progresses.

Kerry Johnson
