Celebrating 1 Year at Coomera
15 October 2026
Friends, can you believe it’s been one whole year since we opened the doors to our ACE Coomera Campus?
What started with a freshly renovated classroom, new manual handling space and plenty of excitement has quickly become a thriving little learning community. And what a brilliant first year it has been.
In just 12 months we have welcomed students from all over the northern Gold Coast, building their confidence and possibilities through Foundation Skills, and boosting their career opportunities with Community Care qualifications.
The crew have definitely enjoyed the celebrations this week, with delectable cupcakes for morning tea shared with our current students and lovely Coomera staff.
Manager Neil reflects on this milestone, “Just one year ago, we proudly opened our Coomera campus. While we began with only a small number of students, we believed in the potential of the campus and the opportunities it could create for learners seeking to build their skills, confidence, and future career pathways.
Twelve months later, we are delighted to reflect on a year of remarkable growth and achievement. Student numbers have increased significantly, and with that growth has come countless success stories. From students gaining the confidence to return to study, to others progressing into employment, further training, or new career opportunities, the impact of our programs has been truly rewarding to witness.
Our success has been driven by the dedication of our trainers and support staff, who have worked tirelessly to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. Most importantly, it has been shaped by the determination and commitment of our students, who have embraced every opportunity to learn, develop, and achieve their goals.
As we celebrate this milestone, we are excited about what lies ahead. We remain committed to supporting our students, strengthening our community connections, and continuing to deliver training that changes lives.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Coomera campus journey so far. We look forward to building on this strong foundation and creating even more success stories in the years to come.”
One year down, and we’re only getting started. We can’t wait to see what year two brings!
