One Month of TLC

It’s been a whole month since we launched our tutoring business Thrive Learning Co.! Four weeks in, we’re already seeing encouraging momentum and feel incredibly grateful for the way the community has embraced us, especially in Murwillumbah where our tutoring Studio is located.
We sat down with Thrive Learning Co. Manager, Laura to get the scoop on what’s been happening so far.
“Launching a new education space is equal parts exciting and nerve-wracking, but so far, the response has reaffirmed exactly why we started. In just a few short weeks, we’ve welcomed families into both our face-to-face studio sessions and online learning environment. We’re really pleased with how it’s going so far and the genuine interest from the community.
More than anything, we feel like we’re building something purposeful – not just running tutoring sessions, but creating a calm, focused space where young people can rebuild confidence and capability. Watching this confidence grow in our students is the big highlight. Plus, they’re all really enjoying our sessions!
Seeing someone walk into their first session unsure, hesitant, or convinced they ‘just aren’t good at Maths or English’ and then seeing them leave feeling proud of what they’ve achieved is a big moment.
The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Parents have shared that their children are more engaged, feeling calmer about schoolwork and believing in their abilities. They also appreciate the professionalism of our experienced tutors.”
What’s next for Thrive Learning Co.? Laura’s excited to continue growing the Thrive presence in the community, connecting with local families and helping students progress. “Our goal is not just to grow but make impact!
