“I was already working as a Wellbeing Carer in aged care before studying. I wanted to build on my experience by gaining formal qualifications and improving my skills.
The best part of my experience with ACE was the support. They were friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. The learning materials were easy to understand, and I felt encouraged. This course gave me the practical skills and knowledge, and helped me provide quality care every day. I now have a career that I genuinely enjoy and find rewarding.
It’s never too late to learn something new or change careers. Studying as an adult can be challenging, but it’s absolutely worth it. Believe in yourself, ask for help when you need it, and take one step at a time. I’m very glad I decided to do it.”

“Working for a year at a facility as a cleaner built up my confidence to try as an assistant in nursing or carer, so I applied for a company scholarship to complete the Certificate III in Individual Support and was successful in the position.
