Consider this as your starting point in herbal medicine. The course is delivered by a professional with 13 years of experience in the field and holder of a Bachelor of Naturopathy.

Informative, fun and interactive – you will make common remedies including insect repellent, sunscreen, a skin cream for cuts and minor infections and a chest rub for coughs and colds. By making these remedies you will grow your understanding of how herbal remedies work, and how to make your own. Students will also go on a weed walk, to identify common medicinal ‘weeds’ that grown in our streets and gardens.

Please note there is a $20-$30 material cost payable to the trainer on the say.

This course is delivered by Heather Ellemor-Collins.  She holds a Bachelor of Naturopathy from Southern Cross University. Heather has worked in this sector for 13 years, been actively involved in the growing and manufacture of over seventy herbal medicines and now enjoys sharing her natural remedy knowledge with the community.  She says the best part of her job is teaching others about these plants and how to use them.
