Kelly Hunt has been a Northern Rivers local for over 19 years, drawn to the beautiful culture and nature of the area. Whilst primarily working in the Community Services sector, she has always gravitated toward art expression for healing and self-care. This has included painting, drawing, poetry, sewing, welding, clay, and of course rug making. She regularly hosts creative wellbeing classes, bringing people together and encouraging connection through art.

All materials are provided, but colours are limited so you may like to bring your own new, recycled, or vintage yarns in the exact colours you are looking for. Please ensure they are 4-8ply, not cotton or velvet covered. You will need approx. 2kg of yarn for this project.

Rug designs are supplied, but you are welcome to bring your own simple inspiration.
