Enrolment Payment

You can pay for your course by cash, cheque , credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Bankcard) or money order. Only by paying the course fee can your enrolment be guaranteed. If required we can arrange for you to pay your fee in interest-free instalments. Please ask our staff about this option.

Enrolment Confirmation

Once you have paid for a course, you will be issued with a confirmation letter/receipt and any relevant course handouts, either over the counter or by post. Your enrolment is not confirmed in the course until your payment is received in full. We will contact you again only if your class is cancelled.

Cancellation by Us

We aim to keep our courses as affordable as possible. The minimum number of enrolments to cover costs is all that is required for most courses to run. Insufficient enrolments may mean that a course is cancelled. If so, we will notify you prior to the course commencement date.

Cancellation by You

If you wish to cancel an enrolment please notify us no later than five working days prior to your course commencement date. We will then refund your course fee less a $15 administration levy. If you withdraw from a course after this deadline a refund will not be paid. ACE Community Colleges does not accept responsibility for changes in your personal circumstances.

Refunds

We will refund your money in full if we cancel a course or if the course fills before we receive or process your enrolment. You may transfer course fees to another course or hold fees in credit for an up-coming course.

Access for people with a disability

Please advise us in advance if you have a disability so that we may assist.

Statements of Attendance

Statements of Attendance are issued only upon request and where a minimum attendance of 80% can be confirmed. See reception staff to arrange for a Statement of Attendance if you require one.

Course Fee

The course fees cover the cost of tuition and administration. You may be required to purchase additional materials, ingredients or equipment for some courses. You will be advised at time of enrolment if this is the case.

Concessions for courses $60 & over

A concession of $10 is available to holders of pension, student, seniors and health care cards.

Parking

Public parking facilities or on-street parking is available nearby the majority of course venues. Note that parking is restricted until 9pm in Magellan Street, Lismore. ACE Community Colleges does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to person or property arising from attendance at courses or traveling to and from course venues.

Public Holidays

The College is closed on Public Holidays.

Class Alterations

ACE Community Colleges reserves the right to cancel classes or alter any of the details advertised in this program.
