French - Beginners

Take an 8-week French adventure to learn about the language, culture and lifestyle. This course will allow you to really feel French and give you the skills to allow you to communicate effectively with children and adults alike. Required: Collins "Easy Learning French Grammar".

Spanish - Beginners

Learn Spanish with Yenny, a qualified language teacher. Speaking and listening, reading and writing, communicating in Spanish is the aim of the course. This is a course for beginners and would suit those wanting to travel or those wishing to learn a language for enjoyment.

Introduction to Auslan

An introductory course covering fingerspelling, signing words and signing with facial expressions.

Creative Writing with the Five Senses

This course is suitable for writers of all genres of fiction and non-fiction, from beginners to more experienced authors. Writing exercises based around the five senses of touch, taste, sight, sound and smell will add depth and originality to your writing. Each session will begin with a general warm-up exercixse, then two or three exercises related specifically to the sense being explored that week. You will write a short piece associated with each exercise and be encouraged to share your work and receive feedback.

German - Beginners

German is the key to a great Central European experience and mastering the basics is easier than you think. Learn how to ask simple questions, talk about yourself, make enquiries and socialise. By the end of the course you will be able to make yourself understood by both native speakers and those using German as a go-between tourist language.
