Electrical Safety Testing and Tagging
Worth 6 CPD Points, this course is conducted in association with Axiom Compliance and has been designed to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and certification to perform inspections and tests using approved Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) equipment in accordance with the requirements and standards as set out in the Code of Practice (Electrical Practices for Construction Work) and Australian Standards AS3760. Successful participants will receive a Statement of Attainment: UEENEEP008B Conduct In-Service Safety Testing of Electrical Cord Assemblies and Cord Connected Equipment.
Replace Plugs and Sockets
Worth 1 CPD point, this addendum to the Electrical Testing and Tagging course qualifies successful participants to replace plugs and sockets identified as being faulty. Participants will receive a Certificate of Competency and take home a 5 metre commercial extension lead they have constructed during the course.
White Card - OHS for Construction Sites
The White Card course is intended to provide new and existing building and construction industry persons with the introductory understanding and knowledge needed to commence or continue within the building and construction industry. This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to undertake Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) induction training within the construction industry. It requires the ability to demonstrate personal awareness of OHS legislative requirements, and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry. Successful participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for CPCCOHS1001A - Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
