This day is for those with a working understanding of Excel. Participants need to have done the Beginners course first or have a good working knowledge of Spreadsheets already. Word - Beyond the Basics
When you know the basics of word processing, you can continue on. Using MS Word 2010, learn more advanced features such as listing items with numbering, bulleting, tabs, columns & tables. Learn to use the drawing tools to create your own logo in your letterhead or as watermarks. Create your own templates for memos & calendars. Create macros to automate all repetitive tasks and use the new Mail Merge tab. Basic computer & file management skills are required.
