Basic Cake Decorating
This professional level course is a good foundation on which to build a cake decorating career. Topics covered include: covering a cake, making royal icing, piping base & side borders, piped flowers, simple embroidery, calligraphy, floodwork pictures and other simple decorating techniques.
Kit Boat Assembly
This 3 hour demonstration will show you how to assemble a 4 metre marine plywood canoe. There will be an opportunity for some hands on experience and this may lead you to undertake a project of your own. You will receive a free demonstration DVD and all materials and equipment will be provided. Canoe kits (costing $195) will be available for purchase. Start Sewing Now
Bring along your own sewing machine and learn basic skills while you create a skirt and shirt. Skills covered include sewing in zips, interfacing and completing a waistband, constructing a collar, tab fronts and buttonholes, inserting sleeves and overlocking stretch fabric.
