QLD OLGR Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG)
This course is designed for people who wish to enter or are in the gaming industry. This will apply to licensees, gaming nominee licence holders, gaming employee licence holders, and staff who perform any gaming related tasks e.g. monitoring player behaviour. This course is offered in partnership with CFT QLD who will issue a Statement of Attainment for the unit SITHGAM006A and Queensland Responsible Service of Gambling Course Certificate
QLD OLGR Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
Valid in QLD, NT, SA and WA and is compulsory for all staff involved in the service or supply of alcohol on licensed premises, such as bar staff, managers, glass collectors and room service staff. This course is offered in partnership with CFT QLD who will issue successful participants a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment unit SITHFAB009A and OLGR Responsible Service of Alcohol Training Course Certificate
Level 1 Food Safety
Available for 3 different industries – Hospitality and Retail, Food Processing and Health and Community Services you will learn the basics of food safety. This course is offered in partnership with CFT QLD who will issue successful participants with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment depending on the industry that you choose.
Level 2 Food Safety
Available for 3 different industries – Hospitality and Retail, Food Processing and Health and Community Services you will learn additional competencies of food safety. This course is offered in partnership with CFT QLD who will issue successful participants with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment depending on the industry that you choose.
Food Safety Supervisor
Learn the key hygiene procedures that apply in hospitality, aged care, childcare, retail and all food service areas. This course assures compliance with all new requirements for safe food service. This course is offered in partnership with CFT QLD who will issue successful participants with a Statement of Attainment for SITXOHS002A Follow workplace hygiene procedures and SITXFSA001A Implement food safety procedures. No concession available for this course.
Replace Plugs and Sockets
Worth 1 CPD point, this addendum to the Electrical Testing and Tagging course qualifies successful participants to replace plugs and sockets identified as being faulty. Participants will take home a 5 metre commercial extension lead they have constructed during the course. No concession available for this course.
Electrical Testing and Tagging
Perform inspections and tests using portable appliance testing equipment in accordance with the NSW Construction & Civil Engineering Code of Practice and Australian Standard AS3760. UEENEEP026A Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cords connected to equipment and cord assemblies. No concessions.
OH&S for Construction Sites - White Card
The White Card course is intended to provide new and existing building and construction industry persons with the introductory understanding and knowledge needed to commence or continue within the building and construction industry. This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to undertake Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) induction training within the construction industry. It requires the ability to demonstrate personal awareness of OHS legislative requirements, and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry. Successful participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for CPCCOHS1001A - Work Safely in the Construction Industry.
RSA and RCG
In NSW it is mandatory for all licensees, managers and staff with liquor or gambling duties to complete approved RSA and RCG training courses. Successful participants in this course will be awarded the units of competency SITHFAB009A Provide responsible service of alcohol and SITGAM006A Provide responsible gambling services. This course is offered in partnership with Country Hospitality Training Services. Participants may opt to do just the RSA or RCG component of the course, but should be aware that due to the liquor licensing fee structure this is not as cost-effective as doing the combined course.
